You’ll be the first to try Edpuzzle’s Quizzes feature! With Quizzes, you can create fun, interactive assessments with the same detailed student analytics you know and love. Make sure to check out the new and improved My Content tab, and for students, the rich text editor so they can easily format their open-ended answers.
Once you’ve joined the beta, you’ll be notified of other new features as they become available when you log in to Edpuzzle, so stay tuned – more exciting updates are on the way!
Just click on the + Add new button and select Quiz from the dropdown menu to create your own. You can also choose a ready-to-go Edpuzzle Original quiz from the Quizzes tab in the sidebar.
Beta users will see their classes organized into two sections: My Classes 1.0 (your existing classes before you joined the beta) and My Classes 2.0. To use the new beta features, you'll need to create and use a beta class in My Classes 2.0.
You can still use your existing classes as usual under My Classes 1.0; however, these classes won’t support our new beta features.
If you use the Google Classroom add-on, there won’t be any changes to your classes in Google Classroom, but in Edpuzzle you may notice that your old classes are duplicated when you assign your first quiz. This is just a technical workaround that allows you to access the beta features, and your existing assignments will still be accessible to you and your students.
To assign a quiz, create a new class under the My Classes 2.0 section. Once you’ve created a class, you can assign your quiz!
For Google Classroom add-on users, you can assign a quiz directly from the add-on!
You can find your new quizzes and grades under My Classes 2.0 and your old assignments and grades under My Classes 1.0.
If you use the Google Classroom add-on, there won’t be any changes to your classes in Google Classroom, but in Edpuzzle you can find your new quizzes and grades under My Classes 2.0 and your old assignments and grades under My Classes 1.0.
Once you have created your new class under My Classes 2.0, your students will see a new class in their Edpuzzle account.
If you use the Google Classroom add-on, your students will continue to have the exact same experience using Edpuzzle through Google Classroom. If for some reason they log in to Edpuzzle rather than Google Classroom, they’ll see their classes duplicated.
Yes! If you’re using the Google Classroom add-on or for My Classes 2.0 in Edpuzzle, you can assign as many videos and quizzes as you want at the same time.
Pay attention to the pop-ups and notifications in Edpuzzle where you’ll be the first to know about the latest feature releases in the beta!
You’ll see a banner across the bottom of your screen in Edpuzzle asking you to leave feedback about the beta version of Edpuzzle. Your opinion is vital as we’re developing these exciting new features!
